Mike Teiler is CEO of SpiroFriend AID Ltd. He brings over 30 years of experience in the pharma industry specializing in all aspects of new product introduction and project management.He received his training in Pharmacy at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, where he earned his B. Pharm degree.
Mike served at Teva Pharmaceuticals for 24 years in increasingly senior positions in Generic R&D and Portfolio Management, finally reaching the position of Vice President Generic R&D for the Teva International Group.
After leaving Teva Mr. Teiler joined Taro Pharmaceuticals (a Sun Pharma company) as Group Vice President, Portfolio Management where he created this role and established processes for candidate selection, R&D project management and global launch management. In addition Mike was responsible for the project management of Sun Pharma’s R&D, where he was responsible for creating the Project Management function and introducing Critical Chain Project Management and led the implementation effort.Since leaving Taro in 2017, Mike has been working as a consultant, providing strategic guidance to numerous startups in the pharma, device, cosmetics and supplement space.
Dan Avrahamson is Founder & CTO of the Company.
He has expertise within innovative & unique multidisciplinary system designs with emphases on micro-mechanicals, microelectronics, biosensors, HW- & SW- architecture & IPRM.
He has been more than a decade responsibility for managing innovative development processes, research projects and coordinating international technical-research team.
Claus has 20+ years of experience from the security industry and BI. He has worked both within government institutions and in the private sector, from The Civil Aviation Authority, G4S, and TDC with various roles such as Civil Aviation
Inspector, Security Advisor, and Senior Security Consultant.
In 2013 Claus founded his own start-up company, using his insights in advising B2B and B2G with a broad range of security aspects. Throughout his career, Claus has received extensive training internationally and holds a Master in Cognitive Semiotics from Aarhus University and is a certified Lead Auditor. Claus lives by the famous Sir Winston Churchill quote: "Never, never, never give up".
In Spirofriend Claus has found the ideal team with balance between the competencies, technical, medical insight,
and the passion to make this happen.
Kjeld graduated from the Medicine School in Copenhagen, Denmark, in 2009. Afterwards, also while working clinically, he conducted research and clinical trials, which is reflected in several publications in international peer reviewed papers.
Kjeld has extensive clinical and medical experience, both within the surgical as well as in the medical specialties. He has experience from a large department of respiratory medicine at a the Herlev Hospital of Copenhagen. Here he found an interest in obstructive pulmonary diseases, especially asthma and COPD. His special interest is reliable, low cost, easily administered medical devices,
operated automatically or by the patients themselves, in order to prevent disease and death.
At Spirofriend he has responsibility for research & coordinating an international team incl. professors, PhD., Medical Postdoc & researchers.
Neta Meitlis, COO of the company, is a Food technologist with a BSc in Biochemistry and Food Science from The Hebrew University, and an MSc in Food Studies, a special program of Copenhagen University.
She brings the company more than 12 years of experience in managing projects in the Food and Supplements industry, included R&D, Quality certifications projects, Regulations, business development, marketing sales, and more. She has had intensive training at SpiroFriend for medical devices.
